SAN FRANCISCO DOG EVENTS


Free pet food curbside pick up. Full Belly Bus mobile pet care team is committed to supporting San Francisco pet owners who are working to prevent and end their homelessness.


June 12th, 2024 -Ā 8K Bootcamp Run w/ Music

Come tear up the streets of San Francisco Wednesday evening with Midnight Runners. Our bootcamp style run allows everyone to challenge themselves to their own limits. We will run roughly 1 mile and then regroup for an exercise before taking off again! All paces are welcome; however, you should be comfortable running 5 miles. No one is left behind. The run is totally free, just bring some good vibes.


June 14th, 2024 -Ā Film Night in the Park: Bullitt

Another SF summer, another season of free outdoor movie nights! From sing-alongs, to car chases, to family-friendly hits, weā€™ve got something for everyone! Each event will also feature local food trucks and themed pre-show entertainment.


The entire series is free and open to the public but moviegoers are encouraged to head to the links in our bios to RSVP for a chance to win special prizes at each movie night, and become an SF Parks Alliance member to secure reserved seatingšŸ™Œ


June 15th, 2024 - Mobile Vaccine Clinic

Our Mobile Vaccine Clinic offers no-cost preventative veterinary services to help families provide for their pets and ensure that animals remain in their loving homes. NOTE: I have volunteered here and the clinic is well run. Make sure to get there early - the wait can be up to 2 hours.


Greetings SF Bulldoggers!

The San Francisco English Bulldog Meetup is held at Crissy Field. Bring your bully to start the weekend off right and meet some great people at the beach. When you arrive at the beach, we'll be towards the left near the tidal marsh that flows into the ocean. It's technically called the the East Beach parking area.

NOTE: It's not the North Parking area. Can't wait to see you at the meetup.


June 15th, 2024 - Juneteenth San Francisco

The Freedom Celebration will span six city blocks featuring dozens of retail and food vendors, free carnival rides and games, free block party and music concert plus much more. June 15th-16th, 2024 - North Beach Festival

Join us for the 70th Anniversary of the North Beach Festival from 11am to 7pm on Saturday, June 15th & Sunday, June 16th to celebrate this vibrant and historic neighborhood, featuring over 150 local makers, artists, merchants and organizations throughout 10 closed-to-traffic blocks in the heart of North Beach centering, Unique shops and restaurants surrounding the festival and so much more!


JuneĀ 16th, 2024 -Ā Mission Bay French Bulldog Meetup

This is an opportunity for Frenchie's and their humans to get together for socialization and exercise. This is a new park without the gravel so it should be better for our pups.


SOUTH BAY DOG EVENTS


Casual walk to stretch out the legs for both your and your pups after a long day at work (or snoozing in bed). This pack walk welcomes dogs with various temperaments including mild dog reactivity for you as an owner to work on advocating for your dog's space and boundaries while helping them build confidence around other dogs.


JuneĀ 11th, 2024 -Ā Pack Walk - Martial Cottle Park

This Pack Walk is ~ 3.0 miles in length on a flat Paved Surface offering little shade, but drinking fountains in two places.

GSDs one year or younger are encouraged to turn around at the 1/2 mile mark to prevent damage to developing bones, joints and muscles of the pups!


Busy weekends or just want to get your pup out for a mid-week stroll with other small dogs? Join us for a short walk in the San Jose (Willow Glen) area.

The walk is simply a way for our dogs to warm up to one another and put their energy to good use.Ā 


Calling all French Bulldog owners and lovers! Our group gives Frenchies a chance to play together, and gives their humans a chance to hang out and discuss all things Frenchie. If you own a Frenchie, want a Frenchie (who doesn't?), or have questions about the breed, this group is for you!


June 15th, 2024 -Ā Dog Adoption Event

Come meet dogs available for adoption in a relaxed fun environment at Pup Plaza on Saturday. Not yet ready to adopt, or have questions about the ideal dog for you and your family? Stop by during our adoption events and chat with us about what you are looking for, and we can provide some pointers and great resources to find that perfect canine companion for you!


June 15th, 2024 -Ā Amazing Dogs Adoption Event

Come to the Amazing Dogs Adoption Event to bring your new doggies home. You can meet them first online, reserve them and bring them home at the event.


Grab your wheels, let's rock and roll out! We'll hop on our bikes and ride from Red Rock Coffee in downtown Mountain View to Cuesta Park, where we'll have frisbee, hacky sack, soccer, bubbles, and adorable, certified therapy dogs (thanks to Independent Therapy Dogs, Ltd.).


June 16th, 2024 -Ā Mariachi Festival

The ā€œSilicon Valley Mariachi Foundationā€™s,ā€ Mariachi Festival inauguration. Join us as we celebrate the spirit of Mexico with music, dance, food, and art.


This festival uniquely falls on Fatherā€™s Day making it the perfect event to create new memories with the family. The Mariachi Festival is more than just an event; itā€™s a celebration of cultural appreciation, love, and community. Immerse yourself in an array of activities including live performances from local mariachis, folklorico dancers, tequila tasting, and workshops.


EAST BAY DOG EVENTS


June 10th, 2024 -Ā Lazy Dog dine and donate

šŸ¶ Please join us for our Lazy Dog dine and donate on Monday, June 10th. Only the Concord location will be participating.


šŸšØ A printed flyer must be presented for us to receive credit for your dine in purchase. If youā€™re ordering take out visit lazydogrestaurants.com, select the Concord location, and enter code 13UAR.


šŸ¾ We will receive 15% of your entire bill. All of the money raised will go directly towards the medical care of our foster dogs.


We will stay in the shade in the reliably cool and shady parks in Oakland starting at the Trudeau staging Area. We will leave promptly at the start time and should be finished no larer than 11:15am.


If you run into trouble the morning of the hike, you can try to reach me at 510-390-5817, but many staging areas have poor cell service and I am likely to be unreachable 30 minutes prior to the hike.


HIKE RATING: Moderate, 8.5 miles, 1200 ft of climbing.


June 13th, 2024 -Ā Joybound Mobile adoptions

During your visit, we will share information about the animalā€™s health, behavior, and the post-adoption resources we offer. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. The availability of particular animals cannot be guaranteed.


June 13th, 2024 -Ā Dog Foster Open House

Interested in learning more about fostering, or ready to pick up a foster dog?Ā  Our foster coordinators or volunteers will match you with a foster dog who is suitable for your household. Note that if you have a dog at home, or kids under 12, you have to bring them to meet your foster dog before taking the dog home.


June 15th, 2024 -Ā Free Pet Vaccine Clinic

Joybound offers free, monthly pet vaccine clinics, held at various locations in Contra Costa County. Pet vaccinations are an extremely important part of their health and wellbeing. By teaching your petā€™s immune system how to recognize and fight off diseases, they can prevent or lessen the severity of illnesses.


Please note that this event will take place at the Heather Farm Dog Park. Reserve your spot for this free event today by visiting our event registration page.


Dogs of all breeds (and their families!) will strut their stuff around Heather Farm Park with Pride as we celebrate the unconditional love of our family pets. Stop by the photo booth for a Prideful Pet Portrait opportunity. Bandana giveaways will be available for a limited time.


June 15th, 2024 - Adopt Adorable Dogs

Meet foster dogs available for adoption! Our dogs live in homes with Tri-Valley Animal Rescue volunteers where they receive loving care, socialization and training.


June 15th, 2024 -Ā CCAS Mobile Dog Adoption Event

Come meet some great ADOPTABLE dogs! In partnership with Contra Costa Animal Services and Northern California Sled Dog Rescue, we will be on-site to introduce you to some wonderful dogs, answer questions and help with the decision of adding a furry friend to your family. Look for us in the parking lot under the big CCHS orange tent, with the dogs of course!


June 15th, 2024 -Ā Dog Days of Summer

Come join us at the Hayward Sun Gallery for a fun-filled day celebrating our furry friends. Get ready for a tail-wagging good time! Bring your pups and enjoy activities like assembling your own DIY Pup Cup, making a custom dog tag, taking a photo of you and your pet to take home, and making an upcycled dog tug! We will have pet-related vendors, Bark-cuterie boards for your dogs, snow cones and a food truck for attendees, and a doggie water feature for your pups to cool off in. Don't miss out on the opportunity to meet other dog lovers in the Hayward, CA area.


June 16th, 2024 -Ā Head West Marketplace

HEAD WEST is a Local Outdoor Marketplace of Makers, Merchants, Crafters, Designers + Artists rooted in the Bay Area of Northern California.


Note: All outdoor venues are kid + pet friendly, with ADA Accessible entrances and maintained portable/public restrooms for use.


June 16th, 2024 -Ā East Bay Hike - Dog Friendly

Discover this 3.5-mile loop trail near Oakland, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 35 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.


June 16th, 2024 -Ā Dog Adoption PupUp

Join Oakland Animal Services and some of our awesome adoptable dogs at Humble Sea Brewing Co. from 3 to 5 p.m. Come by for brews, chats, and to meet some amazing pups. Weā€™ll have information on our foster program in case youā€™re curious about fostering.
