May 29th, 2024 -Ā 8K Bootcamp Run w/ Music
Come tear up the streets of San Francisco Wednesday evening with Midnight Runners. Our bootcamp style run allows everyone to challenge themselves to their own limits. We will run roughly 1 mile and then regroup for an exercise before taking off again! All paces are welcome; however, you should be comfortable running 5 miles. No one is left behind. The run is totally free, just bring some good vibes.Ā Ā

June 1st, 2024 - International Pet Appreciation Rally
We invite you and your well-socialized dogs and cats to join us for a paws-itively awesome day celebrating our furry family members! This free event marks the beginning of a global movement, with rallies happening worldwide throughout June. We're coming together to express our love and appreciation for dogs and cats and to protest the cruelty of the Yulin Dog Meat "Festival" held in Yulin, China, on June 21.
June 1st, 2024 - Saturday French Bulldog Meetup
This is a great park with open space and real grass to run on! Let's meet at 10:30. There is a water fountain for the dogs. The entrance is on Vale ave. off of Sloat blvd. go down the hill and there is usually ample parking. See everyone there.

Join us for the San Francisco Chihuahua Meetup!
We will meet at Stern Grove Dog Park from 12 noon until 2 pm. Lots of fun dogs and great people.
Feel free to bring your favorite food (savory or sweet) to the meetup!
There will be adoptable dogs from local rescue groups.Ā
SOUTH BAY DOG EVENTS
May 28th, 2024 - Weekday Pack Walk (Dogs and People)
Casual walk to stretch out the legs for both your and your pups after a long day at work (or snoozing in bed). This pack walk welcomes dogs with various temperaments including mild dog reactivity for you as an owner to work on advocating for your dog's space and boundaries while helping them build confidence around other dogs.
May 28th, 2024 -Ā Pack Walk - Martial Cottle Park
This Pack Walk is ~ 3.0 miles in length on a flat Paved Surface offering little shade, but drinking fountains in two places.
GSDs one year or younger are encouraged to turn around at the 1/2 mile mark to prevent damage to developing bones, joints and muscles of the pups!
May 29th, 2024 - Mid Week Walk & Park (All Small Dogs Welcome)
Busy weekends or just want to get your pup out for a mid-week stroll with other small dogs? Join us for a short walk in the San Jose (Willow Glen) area.
The walk is simply a way for our dogs to warm up to one another and put their energy to good use.Ā
June 1st, 2024 -Ā Got Dachshund? Come play with us!
Come and play with the dachshunds. We are here to let the dachshund ran and play with other dachshunds. Hope to see everyone there with your dachshunds. Please bring your beautiful dachshunds and all are welcome to join us.
June 2nd, 2024 -Ā Santana Row Mall Walk About
We'll meet in front of the Cinearts theater, 3088 Olsen Drive, across the street from Peet's Coffee at 10AM. We'll let our dogs meet then walk about the mall before it opens practicing heeling, sitting, going in elevators, using the stairs and then adjourn to Starbucks for coffee. We hope to see everybody there!
June 2nd, 2024 -Ā Balthazar's Backyard Bonanza
Hello! If you have a small (10 lbs or less) friendly, playful dog and you are interested in making new dog-loving friends, please join our meet-up. I have a 4 year old (born Dec 2016) teacup Yorkie (~8 lbs) puppy (always a puppy at heart!) named Balthazar and we'd love to have you over to our Menlo Park home.Ā We'll plan on having a gathering every other Sunday @2-4pm with lots of friendly pups, interesting people, food, treats, snacks and drinks (including adult beverages) so please plan to join us soon! We're looking forward to meeting you!

Interested in learning more about fostering, or ready to pick up a foster dog?Ā Our foster coordinators or volunteers will match you with a foster dog who is suitable for your household. Note that if you have a dog at home, or kids under 12, you have to bring them to meet your foster dog before taking the dog home.

During your visit, we will share information about the animalās health, behavior, and the post-adoption resources we offer. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. The availability of particular animals cannot be guaranteed.
June 1st, 2024 - Mobile Adoption Event: PFE Piedmont
Join us on Saturday at our favorite pet store - Pet Food Express! Come early and stroll down Piedmont Ave to explore their shops and cafes.
We will have several adoptable dogs & puppies on site, as well as our merchandise. You know you need one of our 10-Year Anniversary Zip Hoodies & a trucker hat for your wardrobe - or our new black flowy tanks! We are also happy to chat with you about volunteering, fostering, training and adopting with us, so hope you can make it!

Join Oakland Animal Services and some of our awesome adoptable dogs at Faction Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m. Come by for brews, chats, and to meet some amazing pups. Weāll have information on our foster program in case youāre curious about fostering.
